This Privacy Policy explains how Finfluencr (“Finfluencr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, mobile applications, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Waitlist details. When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address (and any other details you choose to provide).
• Account information. If you create an account, we collect the basic profile information provided by your sign-in provider (such as your name, email address, and avatar).
• Preferences. The channels you follow, notification settings, and onboarding choices you make to personalize your feed.

Information from connected services (with your permission)

• Google sign-in. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile and email from Google.
• YouTube data. If you choose to import the channels you follow, we request read-only access to your YouTube subscriptions solely to show and let you follow those channels inside the app. See our Google user data disclosure below.

Information we collect automatically

• Usage data. Basic analytics about how the Service is used (for example, screens viewed and features used), to improve the product.
• Device & push tokens. If you enable notifications, we store a push token for your device so we can deliver the digests you opted into.
• Security signals. When you submit the waitlist form, our anti-abuse provider (Cloudflare Turnstile) processes limited technical data to verify you are not a bot.

2. How we use information

• operate, maintain, personalize, and improve the Service;
• send you the waitlist updates and notification digests you requested;
• display finance creators’ statements attributed to the channels you follow;
• secure the Service, prevent abuse, and debug problems; and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Google user data & Limited Use

Specifically, YouTube data we access (your subscriptions, read-only) is used only to:

• show the channels you already follow so you can add them to your Finfluencr feed.

We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide the Service to you, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition. You can revoke Finfluencr’s access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

4. How we share information

We share information only in these limited ways:

• Service providers. Vendors that host and operate the Service on our behalf — for example, cloud database/authentication and web hosting, push-notification delivery, bot protection, and market-data providers — under agreements that limit their use of your data.
• Legal reasons. When required to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Cookies & analytics

We use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to run the Service and to understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect functionality.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here — for example, waitlist emails until you unsubscribe or we launch and migrate you, and account data for as long as your account is active. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, unless retention is required by law.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights & choices

• Access, correction, deletion. You may request a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal limits.
• Waitlist / email. Unsubscribe any time via the link in our emails or by contacting us.
• Notifications. Turn push notifications off in the app or your device settings.
• Google access. Revoke our access from your Google Account permissions at any time.

Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK or California), you may have additional rights, such as objecting to certain processing or lodging a complaint with a regulator. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below.

9. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to, and is not intended for, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International users

We operate the Service from the United States and may process and store information there and in other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to countries with different data-protection laws than your own.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
